Today marks a great day for The Imperial. We started out as a console team and feel like we have made a significant mark on the European competition including winning Gold for the UK in the World Cyber Games finals. However, it's time for us to expand and after talks with Oli Adams, that time is now so without further ado, we're pleased to welcome our new TF2 squad, the first of a number of new squads we will be announcing.Talking about console-gaming it is nice to mention that on the last World Cyber Games, The Imperial "Monkey" won a gold medal in the Guitar Hero III tournament. WCG being one of the major eSports tournaments on the globe, this is not a bad result at all.
Today we announced the launch of Imperial-Esports PC division. Until now it has been a console-only organisation. Mousetek's TF2 team is the first PC team ever in Imperial and will no doubt impress. In the upcoming weeks we will be announcing several more squads and players to the organisation, as well as a new site.Next to this I also asked the team itself what their opinion about the new organisation is. This is what f2 had to say.
A couple of weeks ago the manager of Mousetek told us that he had got a job at The Imperial, because they wanted to also have PC game squads. He asked us if we wanted to join him and seeing they are a very successful multi-gaming organization we gladly accepted! So here we are, the same old friendly, non-raging team in a new possibly better mgo. I'm very happy with that. :)The Imperial TF2 roster:
