Are there any rules on this site?

Yes, but if you act sensibly while on Cadred you're automatically sticking to them!

How do bans work on Cadred?

When a ban is set on a user account, it has an set period of length, and will be automatically removed after this period is up (unless the ban is a permanent one).

Each ban is set with a ban reason, so that other admins can look up why the ban was put in place.

99% of the bans made are made to prevent that user doing something in the future, rather than as a punishment. If you have learned your lesson, just get in touch with an admin - chances are, your ban will be removed.

What is XP?

XP, or eXPerience, is gained by being active on the website. All users' XP rankings are calculated at 3am each day.

Any site activity (forum threads, articles, comments, etc.) will earn xp - each comment is rewarded with 10xp, for example.
