DirectX Problem, Internal Error, Need help.

Trying to install direct x with the dxwebinstaller and everytime I attempt to it comes up saying an internal error has occured please refer to DXerror.log to determine problem. This problem is preventing me from playing a good amount of games (Bastion and BF3 to name a few). Been severely googling for days now, loads of fixes talking of editing registries and what not, tried it all. For the love of god don't tell me to Reinstall Windows because I'm not going through that shit. Info that may be handy, DXdiag says current Directx is Dx 11. Graphics drivers all up to date, windows all up to date, run Malware Bytes, AVG all clear. Used CMD prompt to check registry and vital areas of computer, no problems. Also I'd like to say that I'd like to think that I'm not retarded enough to download any viruses anyway. Just a really bizarre problem that I only noticed when trying to play Bastion.
