CS:GO - Fault with the matchmaking system
@ Counter-Strike: Global Offensive forum

Well apparently it has a kick system where you can just kick a random person if enough votes are passed. Whereas it definitely has its advantages, if somebody is purposely teamkilling/teamflashing/ACTUALLY cheating, I am honestly not sure if this is a good idea overall.

Was in a random competitive matchmaking game, me 4 bots vs 5 players. 4 guys all join at once, and instantly kick me, presumably to make way for their other friend to play. Now I am not too fussed by this but it could potentially put new players off from the game if they keep getting kicked mid mix to make way for other players friends.

Even if you aren't kicked by a group of friends connecting as such, I am sure if somebody initiates a kick the majority of people would probably jump on the band wagon and vote to kick also. Seems a bit flawed.

What do you think of the system?

Do you think the pros outweigh the cons considering 95% of the kicks will most likely be unjustified, Refusing to drop somebody a weapon, defusing the bomb when somebody else wanted to, "stealing" somebodies kill. Just a few things that the system could be abused by.
