Ping issues

Ever since i got back from epicLAN my ping has been ridiculously unstable, made it virtually impossible to play games. I've done everything like restarting the router etc and it hasn't helped.
The thing is that another computer on the same connection has a stable ping. I was wondering what else could be making my ping so unstable? Could it be anything on my computer such as connectors or drivers or anything
