Frontpanel Headphone Noise.
@ Technical Discussion forum

Hello!

I'm back with more sound problems :D Awesome.

Anyways, i have this REALLY annoying noise when plugging my headphones in the frontpanel jack, and the reason why im not using the rear one is because my headphone cable is more comfortable in front so i dont feel like im getting dragged or something, also the soundquality is better for some reason.

Okay, so here's the problem.. Literally everyone does have this noise on a desktop, if you're not using some sort of volume controller for your headphones but directly plugged it, that is because of the HDD noise is being picked up by your frontpanel jack as it's sensitive and they're not isolated enough.

But the problem here is that before it was only a little noise, like something you could live with, now it's a complete mess for some reason, i cant stand having my headphones on anymore because it's WAY more louder than before.. So i really want to fix this.

If you have fixed it what did you do? heard something about taping the frontpanel cable end or something like that, help would be appreciated.

No trolls thanks. I don't wanna buy a volume controller, i dont want to use the rear jack. I want to fix this.
