This thread is for results in testing of tapping system, most opinions have already been discussed
I've tested the ConVar values suggested by J3Di, and even though I have huge respect for this man and his work, I'm going to speak against his suggestion. I know a lot of people already support it, but please hear me out.
The current problem with tapping is the length of the cooldown, it's 0.5 seconds for the AK to reset recoil, and that's a hell of a long time.
When tapping with an AK you'd probly want to shoot with a speed of 0.2 to 0.25 seconds between each shot.
This is not possible though as the recoil won't cool down, and you will have the same accuracy as you would with burst firing, which makes burst firing 4 times as useful as tapping.
Back to J3Di's ConVars, all these do is lowering the inaccuracy values and makes every weapon more accurate all around (yes even while running).
This means you don't make tapping more powerful compared to burst firing with this suggeted solution.
So to clarify we won't fix anything this way.
But it's still very possible though. You have the possibility of playing around with the weapon_name.txt files in the csgo\scripts folder. Copy the files if you don't want to 'verify integrity cache'.
The variables RecoveryTimeCrouch and RecoveryTimeStand will also lower the cooldown time the lower it is. It's for the individual weapon, but I find it very efficiant, so this is the suggested method.
If you want recoil fixed let's put that somewhere else, and have it propperly discussed first
I wrote this in my short lunch break so I'm sorry for any writing mistakes I have made.
