Write threadFifa 13 - Turn patches off?

The game is absolutely fantastic, but if i know EA right it will only take them a few days or weeks to destroy it by some patch that fucks the whole thing up and i end up being upset again.
So i have it on PC, but i don't want any EA patches unless i know what they contain, no gameplay updates for now, i want to enjoy the game as it is and i couldn't careless about online so how can i turn patches off? so it doesnt update automatically when patch is up.
