Sound rage.

Alright i could sit down here and swear from now till next week of frustration of this ** problem.

I'm like the most audio geek ever, like i love high quality audio and music and i wouldn't mind spend £££ on it which i have done.

BUT...... I have this fucking problem that my sound just isnt the same anymore.. i remember back first time i put everything on i was blown away of the amazing sound, i could hear every detail in the song, i could enjoy every song i heard even though i dont even like it... It just gives you that feeling that you can't even get out of the song, you stick with it because it sounds so good anyways even though it's crap.

But NOW... or for months ago when i went on vacation and my older brother took over my room AND PC... when i came back and since then i've had this annyoing audioquality in my PC...

It's not BAD, but it's not how it supposed to be! it's not how it was back then, in comparison this is crap.. even my phone's soundcard sound better even though my phone cant even give power enough to power up my headphones, and saves the quality for battery life.

I have going through HELL to fix this without any luck, sometimes i just accept it and other times like now i rage. This is what i have tried to do so far:

* Reinstalled all drivers
* Formating Windows to Windows 8
* Tried without any drivers
* going through a hell lot of custom settings in drivers
* Unplug the soundcard and put it in again
* Bought a new headphone and sold my other ones

The problem started after a PC crash recently, so i suspect the problem is my mobo or PSU.. but i want it confirmed by someone first. Thanks.

TL;DR
bought new soundcard, had brillant audioquality, went on vacation whilst my brother used my pc, he fucked it up, i came back, soundquality sounds just like my onboard soundcard.
Im gonna try buying a new soundcard, but that would take time so i want to see if there was anything i could try to do now because im 99% sure it's my motherboard that fucked something.
