PC won't startup.

Yea basicly i've been having pc problems for months now really annoying, but now my pc is completely dead. It was when i switched my cpu cooler that my pc never started op afterwards. The problem isn't because of the cooler because I've had this problem before, sometimes my pc didn't startup other times it was completely dead, started up after I unplugged the power cable and back in again ( back then) but now I did the same thing but it still doesn't start at all.

There is a red light blinking though, besides the power button also I tried to remove one ram or both etc. doesn't work, and I discovered something in my cables in the panel section, that one with many small cables one that says POWER RW, reset rw etc. it's the only ones that I'm not 100% sure was in the same place in the panel as before but I've tried every plug in the panel section still didn't help anything...

BUT! I found one cable, that isn't really a cable..it's like a mini cable and at the end there is some black rounded thing, like a mini battery or something it doesn't really have a name on it but. The cable was lose and when I tried to touch it turned out it was broken, like it felt right off from the rest of the cable, like the cable was chewed from the middle or something.. I tried taping it all together again but no luck so I suspect it has something to do with this thing, if not then my motherboard or psu.

All other cables are 100% correct.
