Lag problems

Recently ive been experiencing lag problems when playing on match servers. This hasn't always been a problem, and has just come about recently. I've ran checks and tests on my net and that doesnt appear to be the problem, so what is? any files i need to delete? (excluding clientregistry.blob)

any help would be appreciated :)
