OK, my laptop (eeepc, uses 80gb HDD not SSD) hard drive is dead, when I try to boot it says "Reboot and Select a proper boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot Device and press a key"
In the bios the HDD is undetected, so I'm pretty sure it's dead. ANYWAY is there some program I can run off a pen drive to maybe save some files on the disk that might be accessable? or is that impossible since the bios can't detect the hdd so neither will the program? im sounding stupid because i'm panicing, since my entire A level chemistry coursework (15 hours+) is on my laptop (my memory stick was my "backup" and i lost that 2 days ago, no joke. MY LIFEEEEE) anyway I really need this work, so if anyone has any way of recovering the files please post back thanksssss <3333
