Logitech G500 opinions requested!

Hello guys, three to four months ago i picked up the Steelseries Xai mouse because i've always liked Laser mice. I had the G5 V2, but realized quickly that the laser wasn't good enough to handle my very low sense, thus making the cursor skipping around like crazy..

My problem with the Xai is mostly the grip and feel of the mouse.. The tracking seems very random, and of course the slight, slight acceleration which is very annoying..

Now i've just gotten of the phone with a guy from the place where i got the Xai, and he sounded optimistic about me being able to "switch" my Xai to a G500, which leads me to the point of this thread, YOUR opinions. I've been looking at Reviews for it of course, but most of them isn't gaming oriented which means they are all talking about "it's that colour, got that many buttons" etc etc.
