Here are the results for Week 8 of the German EPS

We are now 8 weeks into the 16th German EPS season and Team Alternate are well on their way to picking up a second title in a row. They have only lost one match so far - to their fierce rivals mTw.Mindfactory just two weeks ago - and currently sit top of the table. Just behind them are this years major surprise, team Speedlink. Last year saw Speedlink end the season barely escaping relegation after some very poor performances, this spurred the management on to take action as they replaced the entire team in time for this season. The plan worked out well as they just two points adrift of team Alternate.

Coming in behind them in the third and fourth spots are the usual suspects of Team Thermaltake and mTw.Mindfactory. Thermaltake have become known as third best now after finishing just short of the top two spots in the previous EPS seasons. For mTw it has been a tough start, they are currently three points behind Alternate even though they trashed them just a few weeks ago. The team have shown they are good enough to beat the best in Germany but have struggled to find any sort of consistency, slipping up twice to much weaker opponents. Another surprise this year is WILD LIONS - formerly known as Hoorai.Xilence, they are well off the pace so far and it seems clear that the organisation troubles which plagued them earlier in the season have caused some problems.

We have missed the past few weeks matches due to an extremely busy schedule recently. It is a shame because there have been some upsets, we will be back to our usual punctual self now and you can expect more to come in the way of German EPS. This week mTw.Mindfactory have come away red faced after a 16-7 loss to none other than bomk, last years whipping boys. In another shock Snogard Dragons overcame team Thermaltake in convincing fashion - brushing them aside to win 16-5. My pick of this weeks matches will be the last remaining one, Team Alternate against WILD LIONS. WILD LIONS have the potential to do extremely well as they've shown in the previous two seasons of the EPS and have had a tough time of it lately. It will take a lot ot overcome Alternate but I think we may just see an upset in this IFNG game.
