We're well into the 16th season of the EPS DE now, after some shocks and upsets the favourites have finally managed to pick up the pace.

Last week saw a return to "normality", so to speak, as most of the big names won their matches, something that hasn't happened in quite some time as the minnows have been flourishing. The only team that didn't perform to the standard they are capable of was WILD LIONS, who again were beaten by weaker opposition in what continues to be one of the worst runs of form this former Hoorai side have gone through.

Team Alternate have yet to play but they still sit at the top of the table, although only on round difference, right behind them is mTw.Mindfactory who will be looking to reclaim the title they feel is rightfully theres come the end of the season. Chasing behind the top two is both Competo and Thermaltake, Competo have come out of nowhere this season to storm into third place and with WILD LIONS playing so badly at the moment there is every chance they could make it to the offline play-offs, if they do it will be the first time a team other than Alternate, Thermaltake, mTw and Hoorai/WILDLIONS have made it there in 3 seasons.
