A Veri Big Change For Crack Clan
@ Scene news channel

In the past few years the top end of the UK CS:S scene seems to have been dominated by the same group of people, with no real contenders emerging to challenge them.

Last year saw a new team emerge that had an ethos devoid of most UK based CS:S teams - sticking together is the key to getting good results and improving. The team I am speaking of is Veritas, who after parting ways around a year ago now, have decided to make their comeback. The team formed at the beginning of 2009 and quickly began to impress with a series of good results, eventually making it into the offline play-offs of EPS season 1. The team finished third overall, ahead of noREPLY and just behind 4kings and fm! Toxic, from there the side went to i36 with high hopes and again impressed, losing out narrowly to team fnatic as they finished 5/6th - at arguably one of the more competitive i-series events.

The core of that team will be joining up with Josh 'ADMiRE' Sharp as they make their return under the Crack Clan name. The previous Crack Clan lineup placed 4th at i39 and came close to overcoming fm! Toxic in the elimination stages but regardless of that a complete overhaul to the roster has been made. The new look lineup will be attending i40 and hoping to qualify for the next EPS season.

Statement from Sadegh “ShadowmaN^” Mzadeh:

Well it’s been a year since i36 when the team decided to take a break and catch up on some personal matters such as Uni, jobs and gaining reputations like best rouge in EU. The break was really needed and decided a few catch up mixes were in order and instantly discovered the mojo is back! Today we are delighted to announce that we would be reforming our team and aim to get to an all time high attending as many lans as possible, such as I series and possibly Gamerbase.

We decided that a good addition to the team would be Josh "admire" Sharp, he proved himself at i39 that he was a decent and mature player and i feel that he will fit into the team. So with great pleasure and say were back people!

A big thank you has to go to crack clan who have been generous enough to pick us up after a year break. They seem to have a fantastic attitude towards competitive gaming and we hope to fill and succeed the achievements of there great past teams.

Crack Clan are now:

Richard “raisins`” Shepherd
Sadegh “ShadowmaN^” Mzadeh
Chris “jai” Waud
Matthew “Mr.K” Kirkham
Josh “admire” Sharp
