SEC: Miracle Injured
@ SteelSeries eSports Challenge channel

You might be forgiven for thinking that e-sports is a safe business, that injuries impacting on tournaments is about as likely as an outbreak of exciting dunks in female basketball. Yet, it seems that you'd be wrong.

Some innocent looking horseplay with Reason Gaming rival SoCLoN seems to have gone sideways for the Swede after the wrestling turned ugly. Slipping and falling Johann "Miracle" Gartner fell through the tent and slit his knee open on the pavement outside. At first it caused humour, then the steady flow of blood meant the first aiders were called to the scene of the incident.

Reason Gaming manager Ben "Dallow" Dalloway, no stranger to injuries with his cage fighting credentials, came over ashen face. "That cut was horrendous" he said "about three inches across with blood pumping out. He must need stitches." Bandaged up like something you would find in a sarcophagus Miracle has deferred a trip to hospital and is sat down trying to avoid any further accidents.

Accusations that it was part of some Reason Gaming ploy are currently being laughed off.

UPDATE: It transpires that Miracle has had to go to hospital for some stitches and it isn't known when he will return, likely delaying H2K's matches. The organisers of the tournament have kindly offered to pay for any medical costs incurred.
