Following the success of the inaugural DSRack LAN, the company have announced a second event.

DSRack LAN#1 took place in February this year and saw The Imperial ease their way to victory ahead of the likes of Burning, h2k and XLBet. The event as a whole was a great success with a huge amount of CS:S teams showing up, it was so much of a success that the organisers behind it - the server hosting company DSRack - have announced a second event, set to take place between the 8th-11th of July this year at the same venue as the first event.

The biggest change to the second event will be the massive €10,000 prize pot for CS:S, a huge increase from February's event and hopefully a big enough increase to see some more top European sides in attendance. The good news is that for once it isn't clashing with a host of different event, it will fall one week before the Gamersject LAN in Croatia meaning teams can be kept busy for the month of July. The event will also feature a 3,000 Euro 1.6 tournament as well as a 1v1 Starcraft 2 tournament, with €500 and a PC up for grabs. Entry will be €265 per team, a food ticket can also be purchased for the weekend for €120 per team.

Signups will open for the event in around a weeks time and hopeful participants will also receive more information regarding the event - including prize breakdowns, rules and more - on the DSRack LAN website in the coming weeks.
