ROCCAT are kicked from the EPS season after the revelation that shox used mateOo's account in the match against VeryGames.

Another dramatic ending for ROCCAT in an EPS season as they will not play the LAN finals. Last year after Sebastien "krL" Perez played for D4Gaming the player was kicked from VeryGames prompting the entire team to leave. This time around Richard 'shox' Papillon was asked to replace Matthieu "mateOo" Dal Maso in their fixture against VeryGames as they hadn't enough players for the match. Matthieu was not able to play the match and they couldn't delay it, so they would have been kicked from the season and decided to replace him with shox using his account.

mateOo playing with an awp was clearly suspicious and after checking the Aequitas file the admins concluded that mateOo was playing on a computer and a configuration that he has never used before. Richard 'shox' Papillon was the one under mateOo's nickname and he will have a 3 match suspension. This means that he will not play the finals with any team and the new qualified team hf.MOTHER will have to find a new 5th.

On the other hand ROCCAT are kicked from the season and all their matches are cancelled including the one versus redLine. With this hf.MOTHER end 3rd of the season and redLine are qualified with the 4th spot and they will play against VeryGames early in play-offs.

Richard 'shox' Papillon gave a statement to VaKarM.net:

ROCCAT had to play two EPS matches last Sunday at 22:00 and 23:00 and KrL luMpy and mateOo were not able to play these matches. Eddy (SmithZz) asked lapach to delay the match or wildcard as play an EPS match with 3 players end with a disqualification.

Finally the match couldn't be delayed and that Sunday night was the last schedule authorised. Totally trapped Eddy called me around 18:00 and explained me the problem, and considering him as a friend I accepted because I didn't want him to be kicked for 3 absent players, so it was double or quits if we got caught or not.

It was quits as the adventure end here for me and ROCCAT. luMpy, MAS, RpK, SmithZz and myself want to apology to the ESL for this fraud, to the spectators but also to ROCCAT an especially boti.
