Today, DSRack announced that signup's are now open for their up and coming LAN, DSRack #2. Which will be held in Denmark on the dates of the 8th-11th of July.

The event will be held in Denmark at "3550 Slangerup, Denmark". The event is a BYOC, with 352 seats available. The event will be featuring tournaments in Counter Strike:Source, Counter Strike 1.6 and Starcraft. However their main focus will be on Counter Strike: Source with a total of €10.000.

The prize pot will be split the following way :-

* A finals (Upperbacket winner gets €800)

1. €3.600 (+ a potential bonus of €800)

2. €2.000 (+ a potential bonus of €800)

3. €1.200

4. €700

5. €400

6. €400

* B finals (Upperbacket winner gets €150)

1. €500 (+ a potential bonus of €150)

2. €250 (+ a potential bonus of €150)

3. Hardware (1st pick)

4. Hardware (2nd pick)

* C finals

1. Hardware (5th pick)

2. Hardware (6th pick)

3. Hardware (7th pick)

The hardware provider for this event is SteelSeries and Zowie Gear.

For the Counter Strike tournament the prize pot will be €3.000 and will be split the following way :-

A finals (Upperbacket winner gets €300)

1. €1.200 (+ a potential bonus of €300)

2. €700 (+ a potential bonus of €300)

3. €500

4. €300

5. Hardware (3rd pick)

6. Hardware (4th pick)

There will also be a prize pot for Starcraft II Beta of €500.

Notice to teams:

PCs are available for rental at the event, and managers are able to contact thomas [at] dsrack.com to speak about "complete team packages", that include ticket entry, PC rental, food, private sleeping arrangement (hostel) and transport.

For this event to happen with such good prize money, there is of course a minimum number of teams needed. So far there have been several big teams state interest in the tournament, however more are needed. If your team is interested, please leave a comment and we will keep a list of interested team.
