Following the departure of Sebastian 'krL' Perez from team ROCCAT doubts were cast over the future of the lineup - which had been together for an eternity in the world of eSports.

It seems that the first player to jump ship is Cédric ‘RpK’ Guipuoy, widely regarded as the best rifle player in France, and possibly the world. After announcing his departure from the ROCCAT team he was swiftly picked up by team Verygames, long time rivals and ex teammates - for the most part - of the player.

Both teams have a well documented history and have battled at the top of the French, and European scene for the past year or so. The last time both teams met was LAN79, an event in which Verygames came out victorious, they were made to fight all the way though by ROCCAT and RpK in particular who put up a hell of a fight. Departing from the team Verygames lineup will be Victor 'victorz' Matyjasik, who once again has decided that he doesn't have the time required to keep his spot in the lineup.

The move will turn a lot of heads in the European scene as teams and players realise that one of the best teams in Europe has just acquired perhaps the best player in Europe, the first event we will get to see how it all clicks will be the French EPS finals as well as a number of summer LAN events.

After a more than satisfactory first half of the season, punctuated by victories at Gamers Assembly and LAN79, Team VeryGames Organisation is changing a player. We are pleased to announce the integration of an iconic player of the European Counter-Strike: Source scene, namely Cédric 'RpK' Guipouy. 

In September 2009, RpK followed his former teammates in joining another organisation. He got back in touch with us in January 2010 to rejoin our organisation. However we had already welcomed NBKK and victorztw at that time, so it was not possible to make another change and we wanted to give a chance to these two new players.

Recently, victorztw had some difficulties meeting the obligations of his contract. Being a professional player has many benefits but also many duties. The obligations of a top level player can sometimes be difficult for a young player. Victor has decided to leave us. We want to wish him good luck.

After this was announced, Cedric again expressed his desire to regain a place in Team VeryGames, so we met with him. Some sensitive subjects from the past were addressed in order to begin a new story on good foundations. He has also announced his intention of leaving his current team, who have accepted his resignation. All conditions were then combined to give him a second chance. His experience and talent, which are further proof, will be beneficial to the team.

His first official event with his new teammates will be the EPS Season VIII finals before flying to several European summer LANs.
