ASSEMBLY Summer 2010 TF2: Teams Announced
@ General coverage channel

It’s almost time for the first of the big TF2 LAN tournaments this summer and the organizers have recently confirmed attending teams, prize money and schedules.

Ladies and gentlemen it’s almost the month of August and you know what that means: it’s almost the month of sexy and steaming hot LANs for TF2. We have all been eagerly awaiting this time of year and now it’s so close that you can taste it.

To kick it all off we have the Assembly summer challenge which will be taking place from the 5’th to 8’th August.

Assembly is one of the most prestigious LAN tournaments in Finland and luckily the organizers have fallen in love with our dear game and continue to believe in our community after 2 successful tournaments in a row.

This year’s Summer Challenge will be an invitational tournament for 8 teams. With the promise of 6250€ in total prize money and ”Turn Up and Play,” to avoid all the hassle of bringing computers half away across the continent, many have been hoping for crème de la crème to participate and our wishes are going to come true, sort of.

Five teams from Cadred’s top 10 list are among the invitees who have been confirmed to show up and we can look forward to seeing some very intense and nail-biting games. Missing are unfortunately idk? who had to choose between this tournament and i40 because they are paying for their own way. Three other teams I had hoped would show their presence are the sponsored division 1 teams; k1ck, Rockit and TLR, but they will for various reasons won’t be going either.

Cadred’s very own word magician and part-time clairvoyant, Admirable, is rumoured to be on location in Finland when things kick off, so ready yourself for the best damn LAN coverage you have seen (no pressure Admirable!).

Without further ado here are the confirmed teams and additinal info:
