Praise Jesus! Things have finally gotten underway here in the TF2 Tent. The games were originally scheduled to start at 10:00 BST, although I doubt anyone actually expected things to start at ten on the dot. The pessimists were proven right, as a distinct lack of servers resulted in further delays across the board.

The dastardly Multiplay server admins were hounded down by our heroic tournament admins, Mole and Tapley, and the players began to trickle on and ready up. It quickly became apparent that the servers were incorrectly configured, missing the essential ETF2L config files, putting fixtures in hiatus once again.

Things have now gotten fully underway; with virtual rockets flying across the miles of ethernet cable here in Newbury. We have managed to extract the vital statistics from the ClanForge tournament management system, and tabulated it a format we are calling “Groups”; ground-breaking stuff I know.

We will also be highlighting the biggest match-ups in the group stages here and on the matchticker, so keep hammering that F5 key to be kept up to date with the latest and greatest from i40.
