After seven weeks of backpacking across Europe the results of the Alienware Challenge are in and the winner duly announced.
That person would be none other than Livia "Liefje" Teernstra, the former CGS competitor, who took the grand prize with 32% of the vote. It was a close thing with Matthijs "A_Spec" Hoving on 30% and Cadred's returning staff writer Alasdair "Duck" Sparrow on 26%. Ben "ben0" Balcombe was nowhere in the running with only 12% of the vote but he can at least reflect on what was a great experience.
Livia walks away with an Alienware M11x laptop and $5,000 in cash which represents an impressive haul for a seven week holiday. Naturally we congratulate all four contestants and thank them for entertaining us throughout their journeys across Europe.
