The Pro Gamers Series were announced, all will definitely be a good thing in the Portuguese scene.
The project seems to pretty impressive and will certainly help the Portuguese scene. The event will be separated in 6 qualifiers, where in each of them, there will be 3 qualified teams for the grand final. The event will feature a prize pot bigger than 6000€ for the best classified teams. For more informations you can head to their website, the url is on the end of the statement.
The first qualifier will take place in Clube de Jogos de Matosinhos (CJM) on 11th September. The second one in Guimaform, 25th September. The third will be held in NetFun, on the 2nd of October. The forth will be held in Net7 on the 9th October, while the 2 remaining qualifiers are still to be announced.
Marcos "element" Fernandes, staff member, told Cadred.org about the event:
The Pro Gamer Series or just PGS, is and will be one of if not the biggest Counter Strike event in Portugal to date,
the event final will host 32 of the best Portuguese team where they will figth for one of the biggest prize moneys
in Portugal, more than 6.000 euros (including Hardware and others).
The event will be split in several qualifiers where 3 teams will be able to qualify to the Grand Final per qualifier.
The event will have live stream, and live coverage from our beloved media partners such as PlayLine.org.
