SK Gaming and Power Gaming are the first two teams to make it through to the SEC 2010 semi finals.

The Samsung Euro Challenge started earlier today, and two games have been played, with the eventual winners, SK Gaming and Power Gaming emerging on the other side, ready to face off in what is going to be an excellent semi final match.

SK Gaming came up against eSuba in a Best of 3 format, knowing that the loser would be going out very early in this prestigious tournament. The first map tuscan, and after narrowly winning the first half, they were able to show their strength and beat the Eastern European team 16-12. With only one more map needed to put them through, they went into inferno confidently. They stormed through only giving away 5 rounds before they hit the important 16th round, and won a place in the semi final.

At the same time, newly reformed Power Gaming were up against the strong French team, Millenium. natu led his troops into battle on the first map, tuscan, and they showed that they were still a team that could play with the big boys, as they fairly comfortably beat the French side 16-11 after a strong T side in the 2nd half. Inferno was a much more one sided affair, as Power Gaming took 9 straight rounds as T to win the game after narrowly losing their CT half, 7-8.

They will now come up against SK Gaming in the semi final, a match that is certain to draw a lot of attention. You can now find that match in the match ticker, and we will add all the details to it as and when we have them including the HLTV IP.
