Here are the fixtures for the second week of the EPS Nordic Counter-Strike 1.6.

The league will be featuring all the best teams from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland and it will be an interesting 11 weeks to see which 4 teams will qualify for online finals.

Match of the week:

Just days before the league starting, it was announced on Fnatic's homepage that the team will skip this season and focus on offline events, but only two days after that it was announced that the team will be competing in the league after several discussions with ESL admins. Last weekend, the team finished 2nd at the MSI Play Beat It Finals behind Evil Geniuses, final score being 2-1 for Evil Geniuses (16-12, 20-22, 16-7). Now it's their time to start to play EPS Nordic and their 1st (or 2nd) match will be against newly formed PlayZone.fi. The team is not as good at online as they are on LAN but this match should be piece of cake for them as PlayZone.fi have only played few weeks together.

Two weeks ago PlayZone.fi announced their new lineup featuring only Joni "Freon" Huumo from their former lineup, joining him was Atte "VIDI" Hyväkkä, Ari "spin" Raimi, Timi "aslak" Verkkoperä and Aleksi "allu" Rundberg, three of them being Freon's former teammates. This is the team's first official match as they have rescheduled their first match of the league versus Swedish side Lions eSportKlubb, who recently finished 3rd at the Fnatic MSI Beat It Finals. I can't see PlayZone taking more than 4 rounds against fnaticMSI as they have been together only few weeks, which is not enough against this team, even after all it's online match.
