ESL are back with another season of their league, this time with medals

Fall is approaching us fast and as the temperature slowly drops to unpleasant degrees that don’t allow for wearing of shorts anymore (what an atrocious thing to happen!) it’s time to get behind the computer, grab the mouse and dominate some pixels online.

Luckily for us the tournament organizers are there to help us out with our gaming needs and one of those is the ESL league. The league has been the 2’nd biggest in Europe for a long time and with more aggressive changes to the rules than their competitors they have seen more and more success each season.

This season the teams in the top divisions will only be allowed to use the medic unlocks, for the rest of the divisions there is much more room to play with the weapons of choice. All who play in the league will be rewarded with an in-game medal, a trick to attract teams who normally don’t enter leagues and just like in the highlander competition it appears to bear fruit. In recent news it’s always worth mentioning that the league will be sponsored by redLine who will provide servers to the teams who don’t have their own.
