Four Kings lineup changes
@ Scene news channel

One of the biggest British gaming organisations, Four Kings, has had an important role in the Call of Duty scene since vCoD. As some might remember, they announced their CoD4 lineup just a short time before the release of the game.

There has been a lot of concerns and rumors considering internal problems between the players and it was later confirmed by corp and palmz, that crow, junior and wiz have been removed from the lineup. Even though 4kings didn't have a complete roster, they managed to finish third in the recently held CrossfireQcup, with the help of outside players like RcO and paina.

Now the team proudly announces the arrival of their new players, who all carry a big reputation from previous Call of Duty titles. They are: benz1ne, who used to play CoD2 for Team-Dignitas and Reason-Gaming, paina, who was a valuable part of 4kings in vCoD back in 2004, skipz, who also used to play for Dignitas and now has made a comeback to CoD scene after a long period of inactivity, and RcO, who has played with teams such as Victum and Team Redemption.

This lineup of six guys is looking really strong on paper, but their real shape will be seen at CDC4 in Holland, which takes place between 29th February and 2nd March, and at the British i33 this March.

  • Sam “corp” Peoples
  • Phil “palmz” Palmer
  • Ben “benz1ne” Bell
  • Lee “paina” Hannah
  • Zack “Skipz” Jones
  • Andy “RcO” Hesky
Statement from Gavin "Geepak" Weeks - 4Kings Academy Manager (four-kings.com)
What an exciting 2 months it has been since this game was launched, it has also been a great time to fully test and sort out our final lineup for CoD4. I am very happy to have the lineup in the form of an all UK lineup as of course that is the main aim of 4Kings. I would like to welcome the new guys to the team and wish them the best of luck. I look forward to meeting the new guys at CDC4
Statement from Sam "corp" Peoples (four-kings.com)
After the decision to change the original five members of the 4Kings team, Phil and I had to create a new lineup that would give us the potential and stability needed to succeed. Using the CrossfireQcup as a way to test the new lineup, and achieving a good 3rd place despite all problems, we decided that this was our best choice. Keeping the lineup fully UK was a hard task but the mix of old school players and fresh blood played exceedingly well together very quickly. CDC4 will be the first real test for the team so we have a good length of time to fill over any cracks and we look forward to dominating Europe.
