After a respectable finish at the 30P LAN it was not long before the former Menace.fi team broke up, with three members joining up with Anexis eSports alongside former 4kings all star, Samuel "God" Räsänen. Menace.fi have now filled the void with some upcoming Finnish talent.
Heading up with team will be former Ulti-Mat member, Eetu "ese" Palmroos, along with his ex-teammate Jani "kookake" Kaukomaa. Joining up with them is a familiar face for the Menace.fi organisation, Arttu "APE" Nikkilä who is making his comeback to represent the Menace name. The final building blocks for the all Finnish lineup are the former FirstFrag members Rasmus "lansyh" Haapanen and Elmeri "Ephard" Saarinen.
The new look team will be wanting to prove themselves at the next Finnish event, just as the former side did with their 3rd place finish at the most recent Assembly Winter, but for now their main focus is the online leagues that they are currently participating in. Whether the team will be looking to make any international appearances in the near future is currently unknown, but they definitely need to start stacking up their experience in the offline scene.
Eetu "ese" Palmroos said the following on the Team Menace website:
After Team Ulti-Mat folded, Me ese and kookake started to gather up people for a new team. Afterwards we heard that Team Menace.fi had folded and Ape didn´t have any team at that time. After some disscussion we decided to start to search for the two missing players. We heard that Ephard and lansyh were also searching for players so we decided to contact those guys, who agreed to gather up as a team.
We are currently attending ESL Series A league and Finnish Nettiliiga, we are still unaware of upcoming LAN events so we cannot say anything about those yet.
