CKRAS Depart
@ Scene news channel

After a hugely successful spell in the organisation, CKRAS and their Finnish CS:S team have parted ways.

The move will come as a shock to many after seeing the Finnish side go from run-of-the-mill top team to arguably the second best team in Europe behind the unstoppable VeryGames. At a time when European CS:S is hugely competitive that's no mean feat, and a large part of it has been down to the sides ability to attend numerous international events around the continent. Their most recent event being the Copenhagen Games in the Danish capital Copenhagen. There they managed to make it into the grand final where they lost out to the French opposition VeryGames.

Whether that had a part to play in the teams decision to part ways remains unknown, but if rumours are to be believed it has been brewing for a while. The move will no doubt cause speculation given the recent news that Reason Gaming would be removing their Danish lineup, could that be the move for the Fins? One thing is for sure, there will be no shortage of prospective organisations given the calibre of the team they would be picking up.

The team said the following:

We'd like to thank Andi & Chris of CKRAS for providing us a great platform for the past year or so, and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours whatever they might be. For the team, its now time to look at the future and what it might have in hold for us. We will definitely stay together and keep on challenging the other top teams in Europe. Of course, this means that we are now looking for an organisation, if anyone would like to get in contact with us, feel free to email me at angeldustt@gmail.com. Peace out. #finns

CKRAS Were:

Christer 'nashje' Loukas
Taneli 'disturbed' Veikkola
Ville 'CISU' Leppälä
Olli 'kononen' Salmi
Juha 'aNGeldusT' Kurppa
