Well what can I say. It's been a superb 10 days, easily the best event I've been to, I hope you've enjoyed the coverage, I'm sorry I haven't been able to keep the blogs updated as much as I'd like, but I think I'm going to do a massive one now and make up for it.

Before I start I'd like to say a humungous thanks to the CGS, Aurili and Monica, Fleishman, Brian Johnson and co, ODEE, and everyone else working there.

I'm still uber jetlagged and for some parts my memory is a bit hazy. So forgive the nonsensical order of things.

I guess I'll start off right at the end with my flight, compared to the journey there it was great, I slept 7 out of the 10 hours and enjoyed no post cabin de pressurizing headache, a big shoutout to Ninjaii and Mikaela for keeping me company during the long wait for our bags.

Working backwards I'll run through the day of the finals, I managed to get to the finals nice and early and chill with Anomaly from Chimera, who is an exceedingly cool guy, grt is just crazy and deserves every replay of him dancing he gets. The final was cool, not much to say about the matches except kasumi, mamba, and the Core CSS team impressed me, Offbeat Ninja and Chimera CSS not so much. I think all of this pales into significance when I mention the thing you really care about, the CGS after party.

Open Bar. Gamers. Hilarity ensues. I must have been among the ten people on the boat (Yeah it was a giant kickass boat, which stayed docked......) who were vaguely sober. Special mentions must go out to Tr1p, who was literally swaying while standing (And whose quest for love that night is best left out), and a certain commentator, who will remain nameless (No it wasn't ReDeYe), for just sitting on the stairs hunched over for around 2 hours.

Myself Fifflaren and Krystal (Seoul GM) had some drunken ramblings over something or other, while mangiacapra looking liked a badass smoking cigars watched over. ODEE's knee popped out his socket and Harriman refused to help pop it back in, this was left to a member of the Australian team, who might I add are entirely awesome.

We got Farooq to completely sit down DaveySkills in his epic deep man voice. There's alot more I can't remember or can't say for the sake of keeping people's reputations safe, though I should add that drunken Olander is cuddly as hell.

The rest of the press here were pretty awesome. Rod Breslau, AKA Slasher from Gameriot not only has cool hair and beard, he also chats alot of crap and will go and get lost with me at 3AM in the search for some pizza place which he swears existed, LIAR. Daniel (I forget his surname) from Readmore.de was pretty awesome, a very smart guy who I kept on having epic debates with. The Fragbite guy and girl were awesome, and further imprinted in my mind that swedish people are very tall and blonde. Ninjaii and Fiancee from TNWA were awesome to hang out with, and also Mikaele knows how to use a phone card.

I'm going to skip a beat and just go into the incredibly gross story that no one wants to hear, but will. The London Mint CSS team's hotel room. Beta decides to show me it, a big mistake. A wave of fetid stench overpowers the senses and creates a pocket of Nausea just itching to get out, adjectives can't describe how bad it was, old pizza crusts, stacks of rubbish outside the bins, various food items in various places, NOW THEN BETA.

There's honestly so much more to write, but first of all I can't be bothered, and secondly it's gone so fast. Again a huge thank you to everyone and all the people I met.
