Over at Thecgs.com Dr. Gonzo has talked to Sujoy "Sujoy" Roy about the London Mint team and the World Championships.

Confidence is definitely high throughout the team as confirmed by the never shy DOA: Men’s player Avtar “Paddaman” Padda, someone who has always believed that London Mint would become a gaming dynasty and that he would be right at the center of that.

“It’s no secret that at first I wanted to be part of Birmingham,” he confesses, “but from the moment I met Sujoy and eventually got drafted to Mint it has just felt right. I get on with everyone in the team so well and I believe in this team one hundred percent. I know I can compete on the world stage and I know my team mates can. For me it’s between us and the US teams and I can’t wait to show them what I can do.”

It just shows what a few tournament wins can do for confidence, but the way Sujoy picked his team there was no-one in the entire squad that you could exactly call a shrinking violet. Confidence is a staple of every member of London Mint and I’m sure the GM knows this and is quite happy that his team is behaving in the exact way he does. If they all weren’t so damn likeable, I’m sure many a neutral would curse them from their respective corners of the internet.
