At an action packed Danish event, the DSRack.com mix team have emerged victorious after a tense two map final against the youngsters of SpeedGaming.
The first big story to come from this is of course that the well known master of the 7th/8th finish, Casper "ruggah" Due, has won his first LAN and broke the curse forever. Clearly happy about it he tweeted Cadred this morning after his celebrations with a simple message:
The curse is history :D
Elsewhere Speedgaming continued their impressive march forward in the Danish and European scenes, confounding the critics once more with another polished performance that saw them beat bigger names and higher seeds.
Disappointingly XAYA Gaming, the top seed and the team many saw as the best in Denmark, only managed third place and subsequently have made roster changes. More news on that as it develops.
And a special shake of the head goes to Accidental Teamwork. A mix team featuring some of Denmark's top rated players only mustered a fifth to six finish, leaving the organisation wondering if they should have sent the Welsh team instead.
