XAYA Discontinue Operations
@ Scene news channel

Following The Blast event XAYA Gaming promptly imploded. Rene "cajun" Borg was the first out the door, with his colleague Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel following him to Speedgaming.

This left three remaining players and for them things have gone from bad to worse as it was announced today that the organisation would be ceasing operations for the foreseeable future.

One of XAYA's owners said to Gaming.dk:

After The Blast where cajun regrettably decided to stop cooperating with us and subsequently Jokern also said goodbye, we knew well that our team went against a difficult time. Therefore René (eds. the second owner) and I had to take note whether we would continue XayaGaming. After much deliberation we unfortunately agreed to close the organization down. It is based on lack of time and unexpected situations around TheBlast. This means in short that the team still stay together, just not under us.

I personally hope to be seen in another e-sport project shortly, while Rene has moved to H2K Management. On both Rene's and my behalf, we say thank you for all the experiences we have had, a thousand thanks to all the players who really have been super nice to us, thanks to Frederick, OZBOT, rizc, q-tips, sensor and especially kevin to fight a lot to us. Last but not least thank you to our sponsors who made it all possible: ZowieGear, SpeedGaming, Blue ELPH, Enuzi-Clothing and x-shells.

The team offered the following statement:

The team is, as stated above, not going to fold. The core players in our team are going to find two new brothers, who will help us staying at the top of the European scene. We are currently looking for an organization, and you are more than welcome to contact me on mail@frederikbyskov.dk or realition on #Gaming.dk @ Quakenet.

The three remaining players are:

Nicolai "Hunden" Petersen
Soren "socN" Falke
Mathies "Mefie" Eskildsen
