Well, it wasn't much of a secret and it won't be much of a surprise but it's certainly a SHOXing announcement that we bring to you today. No wait, ignore that. Rickeh wrote this introduction. In collaboration with DuRuS.

Anyway, in a move that will be seen as cementing VeryGames firmly into place as the best team of Europe, highly rated French free agent Richard "shox" Papillon has joined the squad in place of the retiring Loic "Regnam" Peron.

Of course it's not his first time in the team but it seems that he was more than welcome back into the fold. The player stated that all past grudges had been put aside and the team were now all on good terms.

Speaking on the VeryGames website he said:

Hello everyone,

Some of you will surely be surprised that I rejoined Team VeryGames after some comments I have held before. To clarify the situation, know that I had the opportunity to explain myself to RpK at the end of ROCCAT. The hatchet is buried and now finally I can tell you today that I regret what happened. This dispute should be settled between adults.

Ex6TenZ and his style of leadership, it is clear that much has already changed and I know that the combination of our experiences and our knowledge allow us to adopt an efficient game and fun for all.

I am very happy to play again under the banner of Team VeryGames. Since its launch it is the best European team and I am back with my friend Edward. I obviously want to thank Johann and the entire structure to allow me a second chance, I'll give the best of myself so that everything goes well within the team and that we retain the place favorites on our upcoming events. Objective ESWC 2011!

The team manager, Jérôme 'NiaK' Sudries, added:

As we previously announced, we were not counting trainer on choosing a replacement. It was also not easy to find a successor to Loïc, who held a key role in the group.

We finally decided to get Richard, a player that needs no introduction, a very sympathetic and endearing character, one that we can only but appreciate. But he is also a young man who has searched a lot, certainly in terms of experience and maturity. By integrating the team, we are counting on the fact that it grew out of his experiences and he will have confidence in our choices and our ideas that have proven themselves over the past two seasons.

The team consists of five big personalities, and although on paper there is some difficulty, our first challenge is to find the right combination so that everyone has a place and take maximum pleasure. It is the foundation of a successful team and perennial.
