I interviewed a member of H2k.Qpad team and a long-term Call of Duty player Kenneth "MITOX3" Verboven who just had won the €3000 CoD-Gamer LAN held in Paris this weekend.

Would you introduce yourself to the readers before we get started?
Hello, my name is Kenneth Verboven, I'm 2 years old and live in Belgium.

First the classic question, how do you feel?
We felt pretty good of course :), it's always fun to win and it deffinatly feels good to beat my ex-team tek9.

You managed to win the tournament without a single loss, how much did you practised to the event?
Well we started praccing last monday till thursday so we had 4 days to prepare and we did like 2/3 pcw's a day. We just made up some strats on thursday afternoon for some maps so I'm glad it paid off.

How did Sticky's presence effected your game?
It's weird cause it wasn't really like he was a merc, was more like he was a part of the team :). So it only effected us in a positive way.

How did it feel like to finally beat TEK9 in the finals?
Well after OOF2 and EC finals where we had to come from LB, it was the other way around this time so it was just easier I guess :).

What do you feel about moving from WW2 wars to a modern compat?
I got so bored with the WW2 games so it's nice to have something different for a while.

The ruleset is a hot word at the moment and CoD-Gamer lan used a different set of rules, what do you feel about it?
Well I don't understand all the fuss about the rules, some people play the game when it's out for 2 days and start ramming through what they want. I just like all the new stuff with the perks, silencer, red dot, flashes, sprint... If you want to play a version of cs , go play cs or something. This is cod4, give it a chance.

Activision has showed rather large interest towards COD4 including a €3000 prize money at CoD-Gamer, do you think we will see the hyped COD4TV soon?
Yeah it better have cod4tv soon :-), else it will be just another call of duty version.

How do you see COD4's future? Will it get big?
I don't know, you tell me :P. I hope so, I like the game, it's really intense at lan so yes I hope it will get big.
