The Counter-Strike: Source squad of the British Organization
The Last Resort has joined the organization

H2k Gaming.
Statement from H2K:
They are already quite famous after their result at i32 (finishing 4th ) playing only three months together, there were many organizations interested in this team but we are proud to have them aboard. We think that this is one of the most talented teams in the scene and we wish them all the best. Welcome aboard guys!
Statement from
pez:
After our good LAN placement at i32 some organisations got into touch with us, but chose h2k simply on their very respectiful CSS reputation, which we hope to live up to. This team now with H2k's support will be attending the most prestigious UK and European events. which is one of the main reasons for this move Myself and the other members of H2k look forward to the future what H2k holds in store for us. Their support and our eager to do well are going to be a great partnership and I look forward to what H2k holds in store for us.
H2K have also decided to replace

Remy with former Liberty player
friza.
I had a chance to catch up with

James 'pez' Perrott about the move:
Hey James, congratulations on the move to H2K, how did it come about?
Thanks Max, It came about after i32 when we were approached by several organisations. We chose H2k as an organisation as it has a huge reputation for its Counterstrike Source teams, and we felt as a team this next step to a big European organisation was right. TLR served us very well and all thanks to Chef for taking us on after the CGS and it was a great time we had - but as a team we felt the time was right.
So Friza for Remy, did Remy leave voluntarily? What do you think Friza will bring to the team?
We decided when we knew we were moving organisation to replace remy. He did us well, he is one of the nicest guys to be a team with. However, we felt we needed a much stronger Fragger and that is why we brought in Friza. I played with Friza at i30 with eMg and he was a great player, then played against him at i32 when he was in syKotic therefore we agreed as a team Friza was the perfect choice.
What do you make of H2K picking up a British team in particular, with such a strong selection of European teams to pick from?
Most top European teams already have a organisation giving them full backing, i think the selection came from the Multiplay I-series event because it was the strongest lineup ever for counterstrike source at an i-series. It had alot of the top european teams and us finishing 4th shows we have what it takes to play up amongst the top of Europe. I dont think us being british really mattered.
How hard was it to leave behind former manager and friend Chef of TLR?
It was a very hard decision that we all had to make. But to make that next step you have to make sacrifices and they were remy and Chef. Chef is the nicest guy around, and what he says is what you get. I recommend the TLR organisation and Chef as a manager to any team out there.
Is there any point at all in you joining this organization when the ultimate goal for you and the team is CGS in 6 months?
There are quite a lot of online events and LAN events before the next CGS. This team will be going for CGS obviously, but before the CGS we have all our focus on doing well for H2k and doing well at these events online and at LAN.
So which future LAN and Online plans do you have at the moment?
With the backing from H2k, we will be attending i33 LAN79 and the upcoming events after this. With the backing we now have from the H2k management any LAN to us is an option as long as we can all make it.
Thanks for your time
