In what will go down as the least surprising news of the year so far, mTw have won the 18th season of the EPS Germany, with a little help from the English.

Since picking up the English duo of George 'hudzG' Hoskins and James 'wilzOOO' Wilson they have been considered the best team in their country by a mile, the rivalry between them and their former arch rivals Alternate seemingly dying completely given the gap in skill between both teams. Recent months have saw Team Alternate drop off the radar completely, this time they failed to make it to the final after losing out to mTw earlier in the elimination stage.

Their opponents for the grand final were another team who chose to go down the route of foreign players, Gamed.DE. This season they were playing with Swedish double act Oscar 'XperteN' Westling and Oscar 'osvaR' Sandgren. The grand final was played out infront of thousands of spectators in Cologne, Germany and after two maps it was mTw who came out on top, with German player Andre 'nooky' Utesch and Englishman George 'hudzG' Hoskins proving the difference between the teams.

The result means that mTw walk away as EPS Champions for the second time in a row, taking home the €8,000 first place prize money to boot.
