i32: Keeping Their Coolermaster
@ General coverage channel

Hey Alasdair, could you introduce yourself and the team for the readers who don't know you.

Hi I'm Alasdair "Duck" Sparrow from Team Coolermaster. This is our first LAN with this team, after the merge between eSourceUK and Wipeout Gaming. With us we've got myself, Carrel, Nayden, Kentish and Speed.

How you guys expecting to do in this tournament?

I think a lot of it is going to come down to the seedings, and where we get placed. Last time the guys (eSourceUK) got 9th-12th so if we can replicate that in this more competitive LAN we'll be very happy.

Have you guys played much since you've got here?

Kentish still isn't here, but as soon as he gets here we'll start practicing. We've only been together a month and a half and we haven't had much chance to play online recently, with people's lives being quite hectic, resulting in our practice being patchy.

Speaking of online... Carrel and Nayden have a bit of a reputation as onliners, and this is their first LAN. How do you think this will affect your performance?

Well Carrel hasn't set up yet, so I haven't had a chance to see him play yet. I've watched Nayden play a bit though, and he doesn't seem any different to online.

Cheating accusations aside, how do you think the pressure will affect them, this being their first LAN and all?

Well Carrel is continuously changing his settings and stuff anyway, so I'm sure the LAN scenario won't affect him too badly, and as I said Nayden seemed pretty good when I saw him earlier. I think we'll be fine.

Who do you see as the top 3 of the event?

Fnatic, London Mint and Birmingham Salvo. Fnatic always seem to pull it out of the bag when it counts, and they'll be looking to impress their management more than normal with their new professional contracts. The two British teams should take 2nd and 3rd, but Reason and Faxzup could always cause an upset. I think Mint should take 2nd place as they have the most experience in the game, even though Salvo have really good aim.

Thanks a lot for the interview Duck, and best of luck in the competitions. If you wanna make any shoutouts here's your opportunity.

Coolermaster for the PC's they've given us, and to both of our managers for making it all happen, and of course to Felix!
