Over the weekend in California, the Newegg LANfest 2k7 has been taking place seeing the top American Source teams battle it out for over $10,000.
Complexity won in a hard fought final, coming from the lower bracket to defeat CGS rivals, and the only team to beat them during the event, the San Fransico Optx.
Final Standings
1. Complexity ($5,000 + Hardware)
2. San Fransico Optx ($3,000 + Hardware)
3. 3D.NY ($2,000 + Hardware)
Earlier on in the tournament San Fransico Optx defeated Complexity in the shock of the tournament, 16-12. The tournament was played using CPL rules. (1:20 Roundtime, 16k Startmoney, mr12).
