über G33KZ Join CKRAS
@ Scene news channel

Just a couple of months ago we broke the news that Reason Gaming would be dropping their CS:S team, with the side playing under the tag über G33KZ.

The news came after a string of disappointing placings and an unexpected team change as Bo 'wantz' Vestergaard chose to depart. It was unclear where the team would go from there but they have worked hard to rebuild their shattered squad, adding some of the brightest talent in Denmark to the roster and today they can reveal that they now have an organisation to call home. In an apparent match made in heaven the team have linked up with the CKRAS organisation - an org that was left in a similar predicament to über G33KZ after their Finnish side chose to depart.

The news will come as no surprise to most as it was clear that CKRAS would strive to find a new team to represent them in CS:S and the only team worthy of doing so was über G33KZ, however it does mean that we will be seeing the Danes at most major international events in the coming months, with the first coming July 7th as the team aim to take gold at SLAP Live #23.

Andreas "anDi" Pritschet said the following on CKRAS-Gaming.com

After a short period without an e-sport-team, we are be happy to announce that one of the best teams in scandinavia and the world will be part of our organisation. It took some time, to recruit the best team for us, but we are sure that we did a good job and we are convinced that they are going to rock the game. We also proud to announce that we have a new team manager with Jehan Nithyanandan, coming to us from Reason Gaming

Welcome, Velkommen, Willkommen - at CKRAS!

Lars "h0lm" Jespersen added:

We have been seeing a lot of progress since adding smF and cajun to our roster, and in our next step in taking over the european top10, we are happy to join up with CKRAS-gaming. CKRAS-Gaming will aid us in attending all the european events we can, possibly including not only Maxlan, Alpcon, iSeries, Copenhagen Games but also ESWC if there will be a danish qualifier. Our first event will be a smaller one, namely SLAP Live 23 in Denmark, July 7th, where we are confident we will take the first place.

CKRAS are now:

Steffen "3k2" Markussen
Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen
René "cajun" Borg
Lars "h0lm" Jespersen
Danni "smF" Dyg

Kristoffer 'gravity' Søholm - 6th

Stay tuned to Cadred.org in the coming days for an exclusive interview with the newest addition to the CKRAS team, René "cajun" Borg.
