At the beginning of 2011, Team VODKA seemed to be turning some heads within their local Finnish scene, managing a 4th place finish at Assembly Winter behind the three best teams in the country at the time.
Since then, the team have had quite a few shake ups in the roster. After Assembly Winter, two players departed from the team and two new players took their vacancies, those being Mikko "Migcou" Virtanen and Henri "HENKSU" Alame. These two players played with the team at the Nettiliiga season one LAN Finals under the organisation Paranoi eSports, where they managed to take a map off of the eventual winners, Virus Gaming and ended up in a very promising 4th place.
Afterwards, however, roster issues struck the team again as the two new players left them, with Mikko "Migcou" Virtanen joining the army and Henri "HENKSU" Alame stepping down from the team. The team were on the brink of collapsing, but former member Juha "juhits" Hagelberg contacted them and requested that he joined back up with them once more. They accepted, and then picked up Jukka "brh1" Halunen from Juha's recommendation. The team will continue to represent Paranoia eSports at national Finnish events.
Team member Juha "juhits" Hagelberg had this to say:
After the Nettiliiga LAN finals I asked for my former teammates if I could make a comeback with them, and they decided that I would be a good fit. We started to search for our 5th player and I suggested that we give "brh1" a trial and it turned out that he had a perfect gamestyle for us and it was exactly what we need. Then I started to talk with Paranoia eSports and they picked us up to represent their organisation. I'm really glad that I'm back with these guys and thanks to Paranoia eSports and our sponsors.
