After a long and illustrious spell together the Fragmasters organisation have chosen to remove their CS:S team with immediate effect.

Better known as Fragmasters Toxic the team formed after the summer of last year and enjoyed their first event win at the following i-series, seeing off BBoMM in the grand final. After the success at Newbury the team were hit by numerous roster problems, with Dan 'Re1ease' Mullan choosing to join mTw and Luke 'KritikaL' Green and Frank 'FrankstaH' Rini stepping down from the team. After drafting in replacements they were rejoined by Re1ease in time for an assault on another i-series event, i42.

After coming through the upper bracket unscathed the team took gold once more after defeating Epsilon in the grand final. Since then things have been quiet in the Fragmasters camp, with some disappointing performances in the ESL Major Series and a lacklustre start to the EPL - a tournament they haven't been keen on playing in since the beginning. With one of the teams players unable to attend the upcoming i43 tournament they made the decision to take a break until afterwards, a decision that has left their organisation with no choice but to remove them.

Darren 'Yakkkkkk' Ball said the following:

It is with much regret that I today announce the departure of the current fragmasters toxic team from the fm organisation.

After spending some time discussing things with the guys the team have taken the decision that they cannot commit themselves to play 1 official match per week, they want to take a break from all official online and offline games and events for the foreseeable future. Its summer time, the sun is out and they want to enjoy their youth, I can understand that, I was a young man once but unfortunately if they are unable to commit to play 1 game per week I doubt the long term future of the team will be what we had initially hoped for, plus we can’t continue to support a team so blissfully ignorant of an organisation and its sponsors desires to be involved in certain events and so regretfully we will be parting company with the current team.

Obviously I’m disappointed, I believe this team has 9/10th of what it will take to challenge for the number 1 position in Europe but only if they put in the time and effort and practice, in my opinion an extended period of inactivity will just be a set back and so I see this decision from the guys as a wasted opportunity. I do wish all the guys the best of luck for the future, they are a great bunch of lads and if they do manage to stick together through this period of inactivity they could still prove to be a great team, if they don’t stick together, well we all know what the scene is like, maybe I’ll get the opportunity to work with some of these guys again at some point down the line.

We will be adding some new players to try to see out the current EPL season and we will take it from there and hopefully continue our slow progression one step at a time, straight towards the mad house...

Richard 'ritch' Gibbs added:

Today we announce that we have been removed from Fragmasters. Reasons for this are I could not attend i43 with the team and they were to get a stand in, but as a team they and myself decided it would be better to just go inactive until after i43, as we do not want to play the EPL as it is a disgraceful league and I and the others have absolutely no interest in playing it. As of late our online results would be seen as disappointing to some but we have had not played properly since i42, apart from once a week for our officials. The team is 100% staying together and we'll be active again in a few months like stated above. I want to thank Darren for the time in Fragmasters this time and previous times. He is definatly the best and most helpful manager i've ever had the pleasure of working with and we fully understand his reasons for removing us. Best of luck.
