British CS:S side Epsilon have made some changes to their lineup following a disappointing second place finish at Multiplay's i42.

The team were picked up by the Epsilon organisation at the start of the year and at their first event managed to make their way into the grand final, where they were undone by Finnish giants CKRAS in a one sided affair. It was far from a disappointment though given the short notice the team had before attending the event and afterwards the morale was high in the Epsilon camp. Next up for the team was i-series, the regular UK event that see's the best Britain has to offer come together to battle it out.

The team managed once more to reach the grand final but once more they were defeated, this time by rivals Fragmasters Toxic, a result that many saw as a surprise given the billing that Epsilon had as the number one team in the country. Things have been quiet until a few weeks ago when both Sam 'RattlesnK' Gawn and Jim 'mx' Smale were linked with a move away from the team, with numerous German organisations listed as possible destinations for the AWP duo. Whether those rumours carry any weight remains to be seen but the team have decided to remove the pair, stating that growing animosity within the team was the catalyst for their decision.

Replacing the pair is the rather unlikely double act of former mTw man James 'wilzOOO' Wilson and Slovakian superstar Marek '.PhP' Kadek. The move means that Marek will no longer be playing alongside the Italians of OX-Gaming and will instead be making his competitive return at i43 with Epsilon.

Henry 'HenryG' Greer said the following to Epsilon-eSports.org:

I`m pleased to announce the rebirth of Epsilon CSS. After some inactivity and growing animosity within the team over playing schedules we decided to take the team in a new direction for the upcoming summer events. We think we have found a perfect line up and it`s great to have such a talented group of individuals to work with. I think it`s time to finally nip this 2nd place curse in the bud?

It`s a great morale boost to have someone as established as Marek joining our ranks and hopefully we will live up to his expectations. Joining also is no other than Wilzoo who after a long spell in MTW has decided to return to his English roots and brings back with him a wealth of German knowledge that we hope to incorporate into our game.

We wish Sam and Jim all the best in their next venture and a big thank you the sponsors and management at Epsilon for their continued support (Especially Mr Slick himself, Greg Champagne).

Not long ago I joined an Italian team to prepare for i43. It has been great fun, the OX guys are very skilled individuals and I was honestly surprised as to how good they are, much better than what I thought at first.

But with OX announcing that they can`t send us to LAN, and as I found out that we won`t be able to practice enough due to holidays (which are one week before i-series) I decided to accept the offer that came from Epsilon.

Leaving such good group of guys is not something I would normally do, but I`ve been to LAN unprepared too many times, and I would not like to fail again just because of that. A team requires lots of work, and I didn`t feel ready for it, as I may have underestimated the communication issues - it`s very unnatural to play in team where four people normally speak Italian, and to force them to speak English. So all blame lies on me.

Again, thanks to Kimera, Overfly, Stylah and Gugli, as it has been fun and I enjoyed it, they did their best, and anyone who has doubts their qualities is simply wrong.
