This isn't some full on article or something, just a rant.

Basically, forums exist so that people can say what they want as long as it's reasonable (within the limits of whatever forum/forum section is being posted in). What some people may consider a pointless thread is most likely just some people having a laugh, messing around and maybe even making a point amongst all the jokes and shit. When people come in and start saying it's pointless, please just fucking lighten up. Especially if it's in the off-topic forum for christ's sake.

It was the chz's tag thing that made me think about how some people are so narrow-minded when judging what can and can't be posted, and can't take a joke on what's meant to be a community site. It's for the fucking community and people are just interacting with each other (i.e. building the community up?). I find most of the threads pretty amusing and if you're going to cry about a post which is off the topic of gaming and maybe part in-joke why have an O/T forum in the first place? There's a separate section for gaming too, just so you know.
