Thermaltake Make Changes
@ Scene news channel

As the off-season comes to a close we're beginning to see the new and improved lineups of the major German organisations, each of which will be hoping to secure a spot in the play-offs. One such team is Thermaltake.

Historically the Thermaltake organisation have been one of the top competitors in the EPS, with numerous play-off finishes and a few podium placings, including a shock win just a year ago. This year however the team failed to even finish in the top half of the table, with some extremely disappointing results. This season both the management and the players will be keen to avoid a repeat of what happened, as such they've chosen to revamp the lineup, bringing in some fresh faces.

Coming in to the team is former KD-Gaming star Sascha "xs1ck" Diehm, a player who has attracted a lot of attention from the bigger German sides after his performances last season. Completing the team is former Snogard Dragon Alexander "dynrmight" Stöhr, a man who is little known outside of his own country but someone who shone for the Dragon's during the Summer season. It comes at a time when both mousesports and mTw are expected to be announcing new lineups but the team are confident they will be well prepared.

The new look lineup will begin a bootcamp session in August before the beginning of the winter season and will no doubt be eager to show that last seasons disaster was a one off.

Philipp "osirisbash" Kaczmarczyk said the following to team-thermaltake.de:

It's finally here! The new lineup for next season is official. We realise it's a bit early as the next season is still over a month away, but this time we want to get off to the perfect start to prevent the same thing that happened last season. In early August we will have a boot camp where we will prepare ourselves for a week for the Winter Season of EPS. With our two new players, Alex and Sasha, we will use this time well to give us the perfect opportunity to gel. Alex and Sasha bring enough new wind to play a successful season. I think if the preparations are as I imagine they will be, we can play next season in the top. I'm looking forward to the new season and hope the last season was just a fluke. Team Thermaltake must be among the best in Germany!

Team Thermaltake are now:

Philipp "osirisbash" Kaczmarczyk
Lars "miniT" Mohr
Steffen "sraven" Wiegner
Sascha "xs1ck" Diehm
Alexander "dynrmight" Stöhr
