A few months after the Danish scene imploded we've seen perhaps our first real European contender emerge from the wreckage.

Two months ago the Danish CS:S scene boasted 4 teams in our monthly top10 rankings, with an abundance of talent and the desire to do well those teams looked likely to continue their surge towards the top, however something strange happened not long after - leaving the Danish scene in tatters. It was like knocking over dominoes as one team change led to another, which in turn led to another team folding and in turn another team changing.. It was catastrophic and by the end of June the only real contender left in Denmark was CKRAS.

Thankfully the quiet period hasn't lasted too long and today we can announce the first new-look lineup to emerge from the ashes. The team, named U Need Us, see's Nicolai 'hunden' Pederson and Magnus "jokern" Barthel reunited months after AiN decided to part ways. Another duo which will be reunited is Morten "frozt" Frost and Kevin "kev1n" Hansen - making his return to Denmark after around a year alongside Fragmasters Toxic.

Completing the lineup is none other than former SpeedGaming star man and arguably the hottest prospect in Danish CS:S Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander. The team are currently without an organisation but will be hoping to secure a home in the coming months as they look to make a name for themselves in the wider European scene.

Kevin 'kev1n' Hansen said the following to Gaming.dk:

To make it clear, I left FMToxic because we never played. They would only play in the run up to LANs, but I enjoy playing online too, so it was not enough for me.

So now I'm back on a Danish team, where I have put together the best remnants of the 'great rotation', we're ready to go for the top. Expectations are high and I see ourselves becoming known as an international top team very soon.
