 Hot on the heels of our gruelling summer schedule of ties played out in the Tournament.com Invite league come the sphincter tightening sudden death play off matches where the eight qualified teams will face off each night until only one remains and walks away with an astounding £5,000 first prize and the distinction of being the pre eminent CSS team in Europe - if not the world!
The first four matches have been drawn and will be played one each night Monday 3rd September through to Thursday 6th September allowing us to really go to town and give these ties the coverage they deserve. We have been working tirelessly over the course of the season to bring you as much detail, opinion and conjecture as possible but this is not enough! The seven matches that comprise this playoff stage of the event will take things to a totally new level as the biggest ever prize in online gaming to date is awarded to one of the eight remaining teams. All matches in the playoff section of this event will be covered live and exclusively on QuadV.com 
Each match will be a best of three maps format. There will be five maps available in the map pool : de_inferno, de_nuke, de_train, de_dust2 and de_cpl_mill. From this map pool each team will remove one map. Then each team will choose one map. These will be the two maps the matchs is played out on and should the score be tied at one map each at this point then the remaining map in the pool will be played to decide the winner. The matches will be played at 8pm (UK) each night and the winning team will be entered into the semi final draw.
