Reason Gaming announce new CSS lineup
@ Scene news channel

Cadred.org can reveal that Reason Gaming are picking up a brand new CSS team. This has been in the pipeline for some time now, but with ritch going briefly back to Zboard it has been delayed. With ritch leaving Zboard again I can now reveal to you the new team!

Reason.CSS

HudzG
Ritch
phx
c0bain
warclown

I caught up with hudz for an exclusive chat:

Hello George, can you tell us abit about how this team came to be formed, as a mixture of nationalities is rarely seen in top level CSS teams?

Well auxilia had just folded and ritch and I always kind of had a thing for eachother secretly ;). So we talked to each other after ritch left 4kings and we started throwing names up into the air of who we would play with. We soon realized all the good UK players were either taken or going for cgs solidly.

So after a while of talking we threw up c0bain's name I had only mixed with him a few but I knew jIMMy quite well so it went from there and ritch really enjoyed his company and also knew him. So then there was 3 and from that we wanted to get in another UK player so the communication barrier wouldnt be to much. I knew mike well from auxilia and thought he'd be a perfect addition.

Then warclowns name popped up because c0bain/ritch knew him and from there we all played some games together and it just connected

With CGS not a possibility for you, what events are you aiming to compete in over the next six months?

Well we have our sights set on tex.no atm as we think this would be a great starting point for us and from there i think i32,i33 , obviously the next lan79 and possibly a throw in of slap lan it all depends how much people can get time off from college really, but we are really going to spend the next month concentrating on tactics blending more as a team and really have a great time as we have been doing behind the scenes recently.

Many people don't see this team staying together long, for you is this team a stopgap until you're old enough for CGS or a long term project?

I believe that this team is possibly the best one i have played in because we have that mix of european skill i think. as for staying together we are planning well into 2008 to be playing with eachother as we are really having a great time i know it hasnt worked before but we really have a great organisation behind us to do this project and we are all really motivated to start playing and prepping for next lan, and there's no rage, we feel like a big family!

Thanks for your time, any last words?

Shoutouts to Gladiator Computers, Steelseries, OCZ and Multiplay

dallow, Manager of Reason Gaming has this to say:

I'm pleased that we have finally been able to get back into the CS:S scene with what is an extremely talented and very promising looking lineup. We were resigned to waiting till after the CGS had finished before we made a move for our new team, but after discussing things with a certain member of the team, we decided to let him hand pick his own players from the UK and Europe, who were not competing in the CGS. We are extremely pleased to have the guys on board, they all get along really well, which allways helps ingame. Our first lans will be TeX.No and i32, where we look forward to seeing the guys in action. Big thanks to Gladiator Computers, SteelSeries, OCZ Technology and Multiplay for their continued support.
